Godiva Announces Collaboration with CLAMP — A Special Chocolate Line Born from an Unexpected Connection!

On the 7th, Godiva Japan announced a collaboration with CLAMP, the renowned four-member creative group. Starting October 1, 2025, they will release a limited-time special chocolate collection featuring newly drawn artwork under the theme: “What if those beloved characters met chocolate?”

This marks the first-ever collaboration between Godiva—a Belgian royal warrant brand established in 1926—and CLAMP, a creative group beloved across generations.

The protagonists of CLAMP’s works, who embody courage and love that transcend time, resonate with the story of Lady Godiva, the proud countess whose tale of love and bravery inspired Godiva’s brand name. Honoring this shared spirit, the collaboration blends Godiva’s premium chocolate with the unique charm of CLAMP’s iconic characters.

Alongside specially commissioned illustrations created exclusively for this collaboration, a new chocolate experience will be unveiled. The full details of the collaboration are scheduled to be announced around mid-September 2025.

Recently, Godiva stirred excitement online by releasing a mysterious visual. The black silhouette closely resembled Mokona, the creature from Magic Knight Rayearth, prompting reactions such as: “Is… is that Mokona!?” “Rayearth?” “Could it be CLAMP?
