Weekly Shonen Jump, published by Shueisha, will collaborate with Pokémon for the first time. The 36-37 combined issue, released on August 4, features cover illustrations by all serialized authors, including Eiichiro Oda, who drew Luffy and Pikachu. Additional collaboration items and special gifts will also accompany this release.

Eiichiro Oda, creator of ONE PIECE, contributed an original illustration of Luffy alongside Pikachu for the August 4 issue of Weekly Shonen Jump. This artwork highlights the collaboration between the long-running manga magazine and the Pokémon franchise. In addition to Oda’s illustration, other artists such as Shuhei Miyazaki, creator of Me & Roboco, and Kouji Miura, creator of Blue Box, revealed their crossover drawings. Miyazaki illustrated Roboco with Mega Blaziken, while Miura depicted the heroine Chinatsu Kano alongside Totodile.

Double Issue and Special Extras

The 36-37 combined issue will showcase a cover illustration that brings together Pokémon and characters from each serialized manga in Weekly Shonen Jump. On August 18, the 38th issue will continue the collaboration with special stickers featuring the same group illustration. Additional campaigns and premium giveaways, utilizing newly drawn collaboration art, are also planned. This project marks the first full-scale collaboration involving all Jump authors.
