The 101st episode of Pokémon Horizons, titled “Clash! Terastal vs. Mega Evolution!!”, is set to air on June 27. The official synopsis and scene previews have been released, teasing a fierce Fighting-type battle between Lucario and Pawmot—two Pokémon empowered by different evolution systems.

Episode 101 Story

Liko and her friends arrive at Naranja Academy to report the truth behind the mysterious Strong Sphere to Geeta and Director Clavell. As the group investigates the connection between Pokémon and the rare substance Laquium, they also seek insight from Professor Jacq.

Meanwhile, Roy reunites with Nemona and is challenged to a long-awaited battle. What follows is a dramatic clash of mechanics: Lucario representing Mega Evolution and Pawmot harnessing the power of Terastalization.

About Mega Voltage Arc

The story continues one year after the decisive battle at Laqua. Roy, still journeying with Captain Pikachu, hears reports of unusual Pokémon behavior and investigates. During his search, he encounters Ult and his Sableye. Deep in the forest, they witness a Slaking rampaging under the influence of Laquium—the mysterious substance thought to have vanished. Meanwhile, Liko is now a student at Indigo Academy.

The new arc follows Liko and her partner Meowscarada at school, while Roy continues his adventure with Fuecoco. The two reunited protagonists embark on a new journey alongside Captain Pikachu. With Dot and their newest companion Ult joining the group, the story centers on "recovering something important."
