The popular anime series Pokémon Horizons (officially abbreviated as AniPoke, airing Fridays at 6:55 PM on TV Tokyo) has revealed the synopsis and preview images for its landmark 100th episode, titled “We Are the Rising Volt Tacklers!”

Episode 100 Story

Set to air on June 20, the episode sees Liko, Roy, Dot, and Ult confronting the Explorers at a facility in the Galar region's Kana Industrial Zone. Their battle escalates as the group struggles against a herd of Paldean Tauros, powered up by the mysterious Strong Sphere. The enhanced Pokémon prove to be formidable foes, pushing the Rising Volt Tacklers into a desperate situation.

As the group closely observes the Tauros, they seek a clue to turn the tide. What strategy will they devise? And as Liko and her team refuse to give up, what will Orla—who watches them intently—feel in response?

About Mega Voltage Arc

The story continues one year after the decisive battle at Laqua. Roy, still journeying with Captain Pikachu, hears reports of unusual Pokémon behavior and investigates. During his search, he encounters Ult and his Sableye. Deep in the forest, they witness a Slaking rampaging under the influence of Laquium—the mysterious substance thought to have vanished. Meanwhile, Liko is now a student at Indigo Academy.

The new arc follows Liko and her partner Meowscarada at school, while Roy continues his adventure with Fuecoco. The two reunited protagonists embark on a new journey alongside Captain Pikachu. With Dot and their newest companion Ult joining the group, the story centers on "recovering something important."
