The main second promotional video (PV) for the second cour of the TV anime SAKAMOTO DAYS was released on June 15, along with the announcement of new cast members including Daiki Yamashita. It was also revealed that the ending theme will be “Dandelion” by go!go!vanillas.

The new trailer begins with a tense moment where X confronts Taro Sakamoto with the line, “It’s been a while, Sakamoto-kun.” It then rapidly introduces characters central to the story’s escalating developments in Cour 2—Gaku, Mafuyu Seba, Akira Akao, Kanaguri, and Rion Akao, a former classmate of Sakamoto. As danger looms closer, Shin Asakura resolves, “I won’t use the word admiration as an excuse anymore.” With daily life clashing against extraordinary battles, Sakamoto and his allies enter a new phase of chaos.

The ending theme, “Dandelion,” by go!go!vanillas, is a mellow, nostalgic tune that warmly portrays Sakamoto’s emotions as he heads home after a fight.

Daiki Yamashita as Mafuyu Seba, a severe germaphobe who always wears a mask
M・A・O as Akira Akao, shy and inexperienced with weapons but possessing great potential
Satoshi Hino as Kanaguri, a globally adored film director and a member of the assassin group ORDER
Mamiko Noto as Rion Akao, a cheerful and energetic former classmate of Sakamoto and Nagumo from JCC

■Satoshi Hino (Kanaguri)
“I’m Satoshi Hino, voicing Kanaguri from Cour 2 of SAKAMOTO DAYS. Kanaguri is a mysterious and eccentric character with a strong presence. I gave it my all in the recording sessions and truly enjoyed bringing his unique personality to life. Please look forward to Kanaguri’s appearance!”
