Elio, the latest feature film from Disney and Pixar, is set to premiere in Japan on August 1. The Story of Elio and the Communiverse

One day, Elio’s quiet wish is answered when he’s invited to the Communiverse, a stunning interstellar hub where delegates from across the galaxy convene. There, he encounters Glordon, a gentle alien boy who, like Elio, experiences deep loneliness. Struggling with his timid personality and feeling out of place around his bold father and peers, Glordon has never ventured outside his homeworld—making every new experience in the Communiverse fresh and exhilarating.

A Message That Transcends Worlds

The Japanese poster captures a deeply emotional scene: Elio and Glordon, once isolated in their own worlds, find comfort in each other across the stars. The image is accompanied by Glordon’s heartfelt message: “I like you just the way you are.” These words become a treasured moment for Elio, empowering him to face a looming threat that endangers the Communiverse itself.
