In a world where no heroes or monsters had existed, a mysterious alien falls from the sky—an Ultraman bearing the name “Omega” and wielding a crimson cosmic boomerang known as the Omega Slugger. With no memory of his past, this alien appears in human form and is named Sorato. As he attempts to understand Earth and its people, Sorato gradually recalls the word “kaiju,” and enormous creatures begin to appear before him. Compelled by an unknown sense of mission, Sorato transforms into Ultraman Omega, engaging in sharp, powerful battles to defend Earth.
Meanwhile, Earthlings—encountering kaiju and the mysterious red-slasher giant for the first time—seek to understand who or what he truly is. Through Sorato’s bond with the ordinary young man Kosei, the story explores the question: Why does Ultraman protect Earth?
Meteor Kaiju: Rekiness and Trigaron
Meteor Kaiju are special partner monsters that fight alongside Ultraman Omega, activated through Kosei Hoshimi’s will. When Kosei raises his arm with a sense of duty, the creature, which usually lies dormant in its uniquely shaped Sleep Mode, transforms into its full Kaiju Mode—emitting light particles and growing into a giant beast that synchronizes with Kosei’s intentions to battle alongside Omega.
Meteor Kaiju Rekiness:
The first kaiju ally to bond with Kosei. Rekiness has telekinetic powers, allowing it to levitate and hurl rocks, or stop objects in midair. Gentle and affectionate, Rekiness is especially attached to Kosei.

Meteor Kaiju Trigaron:
The second kaiju to join Kosei. Trigaron boasts exceptional athletic abilities, with overwhelming power and speed. With its aggressive personality, Trigaron represents a wild and bold fighting style.

Ultraman Omega is the giant of light into whom Sorato Ookida transforms. He wields the crimson Omega Slugger, a cosmic boomerang, and carries the mysterious pendant Omega Meteor. When Sorato calls upon his inner will, the Slugger materializes in his hand. By loading the Omega Meteor into his chest, radiant wings unfold and he is enveloped in light, transforming into the red giant.
His signature pose, the Omega Scope, involves silently extending his hand toward someone while observing them closely—whether in Sorato’s form or as Ultraman Omega. His physical stats are classic Ultraman:
Height: 50 meters
Weight: 50,000 tons
Finishing Move: Reticrute Beam, fired by clasping both hands together.
