The fourth season of the popular TV anime Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World (Re:Zero) has been officially confirmed. Along with the announcement came a commemorative illustration, the first teaser visual, and a special teaser video. Comments from Yusuke Kobayashi (voice of Subaru Natsuki) and Rie Takahashi (voice of Emilia) have also been released.

In the teaser video, Subaru and Emilia are seen in a harsh, wind-swept desert landscape. The video hints at what lies ahead in the new season. Additionally, excitement is building over whether the new character Louis, who debuted in Season 3 Episode 66 “The Result of the Pristella Defensive Battle” and is voiced by Konomi Kohara, will appear in Season 4.

About Re:Zero

Re:Zero follows Subaru Natsuki, a boy who is suddenly summoned to another world. With no one to rely on and no special powers—except the ability to return to a certain point in time upon death—Subaru faces despair head-on in order to protect those he holds dear and reclaim the irreplaceable moments he's lost. It's a story of struggle against cruel fate and the courage to move forward.

The anime is based on the light novel series written by Tappei Nagatsuki and illustrated by Shinichirou Otsuka, published under KADOKAWA’s MF Bunko J imprint. The series has surpassed 13 million copies in circulation. The first season aired from April to September 2016, followed by the second season from July to September 2020 and January to March 2021. The third season was broadcast from October to November 2024 and from February to March 2025.
