A brand-new short anime series from the original television anime Lycoris Recoil (official abbreviation: Lycorico) titled Lycoris Recoil: Friends are thieves of time. will begin streaming on April 16. The six-episode series will air weekly on Wednesdays at 9:00 p.m. JST via ABEMA and other platforms.

Key visuals for the new project have been released, along with a promotional video and individual visuals for each episode. The visuals are newly drawn by character designer Imigimuru, based on the contents of each episode.

Set once again at the beloved café LycoReco, the series presents six episodes focusing on the everyday lives of Chisato, Takina, and the rest of the cast.

Originally aired from July to September 2022, Lycoris Recoil follows Chisato Nishikigi and Takina Inoue, agents of the secret organization DA (Direct Attack) tasked with preventing crimes before they occur. The series became a social media sensation due to its shocking developments and engaging characters.

Chisato, known as the most powerful Lycoris agent in history, is cheerful and free-spirited, while Takina, also highly skilled, is cool-headed and driven by efficiency. The contrast between the two created a compelling dynamic that captured viewers’ hearts.
