The "Detective Conan Train," which runs on the JR San’in Main Line, is set for a major renewal, with a new design recently unveiled.

A Legacy of Colors: The Evolution of the Detective Conan Train

Since its launch in 2012, the Detective Conan Train has undergone multiple transformations:
Yellow-themed train (2012–2019)
Pink-themed train (2015–2021)
Blue-Red-themed train (2019–2025)
Detective-themed train (2021–present)
Currently, both the Blue-Red train and Detective-themed train are in operation. However, the Blue-Red train will soon be replaced with a brand-new design.

New Design: White vs. Black – Conan and Allies vs. Black Organization

The revamped train will feature two distinct themes for each car:

Yonago-side (White Car) – "Conan & Allies"

The car will be white and showcase Conan Edogawa, Shinichi Kudo, Shuichi Akai, Ai Haibara, and other allies.
Tottori-side (Black Car) – "Black Organization"

The car will be black, featuring Gin, Vodka, Vermouth, and other key members of the Black Organization.
The train’s interior will also include illustrations of Conan and the Black Organization, while the restroom pictograms will be specially designed to resemble Shinichi Kudo and Ran Mouri.
