The second season of the TV anime "WIND BREAKER" is set to premiere in April 2025, airing in TBS's "Super Animeism TURBO" programming block. It has been officially announced that the popular Japanese group SixTONES will perform the opening theme.

SixTONES Chosen for “WIND BREAKER” Season 2 Opening Theme

"WIND BREAKER" is adapted from a popular delinquent manga currently serialized on Kodansha's manga app, Magazine Pocket. The story revolves around Furin High School, notorious for its lowest academic performance yet unmatched fighting prowess. Protagonist Haruka Sakura comes to the city aiming for the top but finds himself protecting the community as part of the "Bofurin," a group dedicated to keeping peace in the streets. The anime’s first season aired from April to June 2024, with the highly anticipated second season starting April 2025.
