WIND BREAKER Sticker Art Appears in Ikebukuro — Almost Entirely Removed Within Hours, Surprising Organizers
On November 25, a sticker art campaign for the manga WIND BREAKER kicked off, featuring a massive sticker collage art board displayed at Ikebukuro Station. The installation, available until December 1, allowed fans to peel off and take stickers home as souvenirs.
A Unique Peel-Off Artboard
Located along Orange Road outside the JR East Ikebukuro Station gates, the artboard was meticulously crafted by the advertising production team, who manually applied the stickers over several hours. Unlike conventional peel-off advertisements, the sticker placements followed no fixed pattern, showcasing the team’s artistic creativity.
One member of the production team shared their excitement:
"This was a chance for us to showcase our creative instincts. It was a lot of trial and error, but we had so much fun!"
However, within just a few hours of its unveiling, nearly all the stickers had been peeled off, leaving the organizers both shocked and amazed by the overwhelming response.
