Midnight strikes, marking the start of the Kyoto Inferno. Goichi and his men spring into action, while Shishio’s subordinates are pursued by the police. Despite the scheduled time, the flames do not rise, fueling Banjin’s frustration. Meanwhile, a messenger arrives at the base of the Juppongatana, prompting each member to move accordingly. Behind the scenes, Kenshin and his allies arrive at Osaka Bay, where an unexpected sight awaits them.
