The beloved anime series Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid (Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon) is returning with a new film, Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid: A Lonely Dragon Wants to Be Loved, produced by Kyoto Animation. The movie is set to release in theaters across Japan on June 27, 2025.

A teaser visual and trailer have been revealed, showcasing a heartwarming scene of Kanna, Kobayashi, and Tohru holding hands as a family. The art, designed by Miku Kadowaki, features warm, pencil-like textures that evoke a sense of nostalgia and affection.

The movie continues from the second season and follows the dragons as they navigate life with Kobayashi. This time, the spotlight falls on Kanna, whose peaceful life is disrupted by the sudden appearance of her biological father.
