"Shangri-La Frontier" Season 2 Continues in Early 2025 with New Songs and Trailer

The TV anime Shangri-La Frontier, currently airing its second season, wrapped up its first cour with the December 29 episode. Along with the announcement of the second cour set to begin in early 2025, a new promotional video (PV) and updated theme songs have been revealed.

The latest PV revisits the climactic moments of the "Traveling Wolves, Be Ambitious" arc, focusing on protagonist Sunraku’s rematch with Lycagon of the Night Raid. The video showcases intense battles featuring Sunraku, Saiga-0, Lycagon, Emul, Akitsu Akane, and Ceecrue. Notably, scenes of Akitsu Akane and Ceecrue in action hint at a new five-member team dynamic.

In the second cour's new PV, thrilling battle sequences take center stage, including Saiga-0 and Sunraku's fight against Lycagon, with the additional involvement of Emul, Akitsu Akane, and Ceecrue. These fresh team dynamics promise an exciting evolution of the storyline.
