The 18th installment of the "Super Sentai" series, Ninja Sentai Kakuranger, first aired in 1994 with 53 episodes and remains a fan favorite. To celebrate the series' 30th anniversary, Ninja Sentai Kakuranger: Chapter 3 – Middle-Aged Struggle Arc, originally streamed in August 2024 via the Toei Tokusatsu Fan Club (TTFC), will be released on Blu-ray and DVD on March 12, 2025.

Additionally, an event featuring the original five cast members has been announced to commemorate the release.

Blu-ray Details

The Blu-ray includes special features such as a digest video of the May 2024 Ninja Sentai Kakuranger 30th Anniversary Fan Meeting: Reuniting at Theater G-Rosso Across Time! event, a behind-the-scenes making-of feature, and a Ninja Exercise video with its own making-of segment. Buyers will also receive a memorial photo card book featuring the five main cast members.

Event Announcement

To celebrate the Blu-ray release, “You’ve Been Waiting for Us!” Ninja Sentai Kakuranger Chapter 3 – Middle-Aged Struggle Arc Blu-ray Launch Event will be held on April 20, 2025, at the Akasaka Sogetsu Hall in Tokyo.

The event will feature Teruaki Ogawa, Satomi Hirose, Hiroshi Tsuchida, Shu Kawai, and Kane Kosugi, the original Kakuranger cast members, along with returning MC Kohei Yamamoto. The discussion will focus on the Middle-Aged Struggle Arc, offering insights that could not be shared during the fan meeting.
