Influenza Leads to Multiple Voice Actor Absences at Jump Festa 2025

The annual Jump Festa 2025 event, celebrating the beloved series of Weekly Shonen Jump and its related publications, kicks off at Makuhari Messe in Chiba on December 21–22. However, several voice actors scheduled to participate in the event’s stage programs have had to cancel due to influenza-related health issues.

Chiaki Kobayashi (Hell's Paradise, BLEACH): Kobayashi’s agency announced that he has been diagnosed with influenza and will not be appearing at the scheduled events for both series.
Soma Saito (Rurouni Kenshin): Saito’s agency also confirmed his diagnosis, resulting in his absence from the Rurouni Kenshin stage event, where he was set to represent his role as Himura Kenshin.
Yuma Uchida (Jujutsu Kaisen): Uchida, experiencing a fever, was diagnosed with influenza and has canceled his appearance at the Jujutsu Kaisen Jump Super Stage RED on December 21, as well as a December 24 special broadcast.
