Celebrating 20 Years of Yu-Gi-Oh! GX

TV Tokyo has announced that the remastered version of the anime Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters GX, titled Yu-Gi-Oh! GX 20th Remaster, will begin airing in April 2025. Originally broadcast for three and a half years starting in 2004, the second installment of the Yu-Gi-Oh! series returns to commemorate its 20th anniversary.

Story Overview

Set in Duel Academy, a school dedicated to training top-tier duelists, the series follows Judai Yuki, a spirited duelist with the unique ability to see the spirits of cards. Judai faces off against rivals, solves various mysteries within the academy, and uncovers deeper truths through his love of dueling.
