Creepy Nuts have achieved their first-ever triple crown in Oricon’s Annual Rankings 2024, announced on December 20. Their hit song Bling-Bang-Bang-Born ranked No. 1 in both the "Digital Single (Single Song)" and "Streaming" categories, while the combined release featuring Bling-Bang-Bang-Born and Nidone claimed the top spot in the "Combined Singles" category.

Record-Breaking Achievements for Bling-Bang-Bang-Born

Digital Single Rankings:
Bling-Bang-Bang-Born recorded 373,980 downloads during the eligibility period, marking the first time a male group has topped this category. It was also the only digital single to surpass 300,000 downloads in 2024. The track, which served as the opening theme for Mashle: Magic and Muscles Season 2, debuted on January 7, 2024, and achieved its first weekly No. 1 on February 19. It remained at the top for three consecutive weeks and claimed No. 1 a total of seven times.

Streaming Rankings:
The song amassed a staggering 579,258,724 streams, making Creepy Nuts the first male group to top the annual streaming rankings. This total also surpassed YOASOBI’s Idol from 2023, setting a new record for the most streams in Oricon’s annual history.

A Historic Combined Singles Victory

In the "Combined Singles" category, Nidone / Bling-Bang-Bang-Born garnered 2,493,509 points, making it the only work to exceed 2 million points in 2024. This achievement also set a new all-time high in this category, surpassing YOASOBI’s Idol (2,274,528 points) from the previous year.

Third Group in History to Win Two Digital Crowns

By topping both the "Digital Single" and "Streaming" rankings, Creepy Nuts join the ranks of Yuuri (2021) and YOASOBI (2023) as only the third act to achieve this double crown in Oricon’s digital rankings.
