Movie "Under Ninja" Reveals New Stills and Additional Cast Details
The upcoming film Under Ninja, starring Kento Yamazaki, has unveiled 14 new stills along with additional cast announcements. Set to release on January 24, 2025, the movie is based on Kengo Hanazawa’s manga that reimagines ninja culture in modern society.
Storyline
In the shadows of Japan’s history, ninjas have influenced events for centuries. Though disbanded post-WWII, they secretly persist in modern times, working undercover around the world, with their numbers estimated at 200,000.
Among them is Kurou Kumogakure, a low-ranking ninja struggling to find work. Living in a dilapidated apartment, his life changes when he’s handed a critical mission: infiltrate a high school to investigate a mysterious underground organization, "Under Ninja" (UN).
As Kurou navigates his undercover life, clashing with high schoolers and facing attacks on elite ninjas from his organization, he unravels the secrets behind UN while battling his own fate.
Cast Highlights
Kento Yamazaki as Kurou Kumogakure, a laid-back yet skilled ninja.
Minami Hamabe as Ayaka Noguchi, a curious high school girl drawn to Kurou’s peculiar behavior.
Shotaro Mamiya as Kato, an elite ninja of NIN.

Joining the lineup are Soma Santoki and Reiya Masaki as high school bullies, Maru Nonouchi as a classmate obsessed with capturing moments on camera, and Ko Maehara and Hinami Mori as the support team backing NIN operations.
The mysterious "Under Ninja," shrouded in protective gear, will be voiced by Kenjiro Tsuda.
