Rurouni Kenshin episode 36 titled "Meeting of the Ashura," will air on December 18 as part of Fuji TV's late-night anime programming block "Noitamina" and other channels.

At the cabin of Hiko Seijuro, the master of Hiten Mitsurugi-ryu, Kenshin reunites with Kaoru and the others. Upon hearing from them how Kenshin had traveled as a wandering swordsman, helping people across the land, Seijuro decides to teach Kenshin the final secret technique of Hiten Mitsurugi-ryu.

Meanwhile, Okina receives a letter from a certain individual. The sender is none other than a former comrade—Aoshi.
