SEGA has announced the release of "Captain Majima - EP," a music CD featuring tracks sung by Majima Goro, the iconic character from the Like a Dragon (Yakuza) series. The EP, set to release on February 7, 2025, celebrates Majima’s first solo protagonist role in the upcoming game, Like a Dragon 8 Gaiden: Pirates in Hawaii, as well as the character’s 60th birthday milestone.

A Milestone Celebration

Majima Goro, voiced by Hidenari Ugaki, is taking the spotlight in Like a Dragon 8 Gaiden: Pirates in Hawaii. To mark his transition to protagonist and celebrate his fictional 60th birthday, SEGA has produced a special music collection showcasing his singing debut.

The EP features three new songs, including “36.5°C no Taiyo” (36.5°C Sun), which serves as the theme for the game’s pirate crew-building side content. Instrumental versions of the songs will also be included.
