The highly acclaimed anime series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba will release a new theatrical anime, Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Arc, set to premiere in 2025. The announcement was made during the special broadcast "Kasugai Crow's Announcement" on Aniplex's official YouTube channel on December 9, accompanied by a teaser trailer and the second teaser visual.

The Infinity Castle Arc picks up where the final episode of the Demon Slayer: Hashira Training Arc left off. The second teaser trailer showcases breathtaking visuals and an intense atmosphere, offering a glimpse of Tanjiro and the Hashira preparing for their showdown with the ultimate foe, Muzan Kibutsuji. The teaser visual includes the tagline, "This is the battlefield of destiny."

At the same time, a Demon Slayer stage event at Brazil’s CCXP featured voice actors Takahiro Sakurai (Giyu Tomioka) and Kengo Kawanishi (Muichiro Tokito). The event erupted in excitement with the unveiling of the new footage. Sakurai expressed gratitude, saying, "Being here feels like a miracle of this series. I’m truly happy to have this connection. Let’s meet again!" Kawanishi added, "It’s thanks to your support that I can meet you all here. Please continue to support Demon Slayer!"

About Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba

Based on the manga serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from February 2016 to May 2020, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba has over 150 million copies in circulation. Set in the Taisho era, the story follows Tanjiro Kamado, a boy whose family is slaughtered by demons. He joins the Demon Slayer Corps to turn his demonized sister, Nezuko, back into a human.

The anime adaptation began with the Tanjiro Kamado, Unwavering Resolve Arc, airing from April to September 2019. It was followed by the feature film Mugen Train Arc in October 2020, the Entertainment District Arc in December 2021, the Swordsmith Village Arc in April 2023, and the Hashira Training Arc in May to June 2024. The upcoming Mugen Castle Arc will be a trilogy, continuing the story beyond the Hashira Training Arc.
