Episode 44

One morning, as Komugi (voiced by Maria Naganawa) and Iroha (voiced by Atsumi Tanezaki) head to school, they come across Otsuru taking her dog Fuku for a walk. Fuku, who is nearing her 18th birthday, is now quite elderly and riding in a stroller.

Seeing Fuku brings back childhood memories for Iroha, who decides to celebrate the dog's upcoming birthday. With the help of Yuki (voiced by Sayumi Matsuda), Mayu (voiced by Reina Ueda), and Satoru, the friends plan a surprise celebration.

After school, the group gathers at Otsuru’s house, where they join Osika and Okame, who had arrived earlier to help with decorations. While preparing, Iroha notices a photograph that catches her attention. It shows a younger Otsuru with another dog.

Otsuru explains that the dog in the photo was named Rin, her beloved companion from her high school days who had passed away. After losing Rin, Otsuru couldn’t bear the thought of experiencing such sadness again and chose not to have pets for a long time. That changed 18 years ago when she met Fuku, and the two have been inseparable ever since.

Iroha, who loves animals, shares a close bond with her pet dog, Komugi. One day, they encounter a mysterious creature, Garugaru, causing chaos in the town. To protect Iroha, Komugi transforms into a human and becomes a Precure. Together, they work to help those with troubled hearts and return the animals to the Niko Garden.
