Renowned manga artist Tetsuo Hara, best known for creating Fist of the North Star, has lent his iconic art style to the Pokémon Trading Card Game. He illustrated the Palafin ex SAR (Special Art Rare) card for the upcoming "Tera Style Fest ex High-Class Pack", set to release on December 6. The announcement was made on the official Pokémon Card website.

Tetsuo Hara’s Vision: Merging Power and Elegance

In an interview, Hara explained his approach to designing the card:

"I wanted to emphasize coolness while staying true to Pokémon’s unique charm. I aimed to inject a sense of dynamic power that aligns with my style."

To achieve this, Hara focused on Palafin’s fists, incorporating intricate details to highlight the reflection of light and water.

"I added afterimages to the fists using subdued tones and gave the main fist a reddish hue to make it stand out. My goal was to let viewers feel the sheer force of the punches."

The result is a visually stunning card that captures both Palafin’s strength and Hara’s signature flair for dramatic energy.
