Singer Ado has announced the release of her second original album "Zanmu," marking her first since "Kyogen" two years ago. The limited complete edition and first edition will include live footage from her first world tour, "THE FIRST WORLD TOUR ‘Wish’," at the Los Angeles performance.

The album will feature several tie-up songs, including "Uta," performed at last year's Red and White Song Battle, "Kurakura," the opening theme for "SPY×FAMILY" Season 2, "Himawari," the theme song for the TBS drama "18/40 Dreams and Romance When Together," and "Chocola Catabura," the Lotte Chocolate 60th Anniversary CM song released as the first single of 2024, along with previously unreleased recordings.

Additionally, the complete limited edition and the first edition Blu-ray and DVD will contain the dynamic live footage from THE FIRST WORLD TOUR "Wish" performance in Los Angeles that amazed and thrilled audiences worldwide.

The jacket art, once again handled by Ado's image director, artist ORIHARA, has been previewed in the regular edition. It features a composition that seems to peek at Ado's back as she looks up through a large window.

Pre-orders have begun. Reserving at the "Ado SPECIAL LIVE 2024 'Heart'" event at the Tokyo National Stadium on April 27th and 28th will include a holographic sticker (B6) as a limited bonus, and early reservations at CD shops and online stores by 10:00 AM on April 29th will come with a postcard as an early reservation bonus.

Ado's Comment

Though I have released "Kyogen," "Uta from ONE PIECE FILM RED," and "Ado's Song Covers Album," it might be surprising that this is only my second original album. I hope you enjoy Ado's world, which has evolved since the first album.

"Zanmu" is a real word meaning "an unfulfilled dream" or "a dream that lingers in the mind even upon waking." I have always loved this word, as it represents the dreams I have fulfilled and the youthful aspirations I couldn't achieve in my life.

As things become part of the past and are glorified, shining brightly, I hope that within Ado's loneliness of working solo, her existence, songs, Vocaloid, and the singers, this album will remain a dream in the hearts of everyone who listens to it... I want it to be a "Zanmu."
