The special footage for the prequel to the anime movie "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM," titled "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM ZERO," has been officially released on the Gundam Channel, the official Gundam YouTube channel.

In addition, product images have been released for the "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM" Blu-ray, 4K UHD-BD & DVD, which will be released on Wednesday, December 25, 2024. Along with these, the cast appearing in the drama CD included with the "Mighty Edition" and "Limited Collector's Edition" of the Blu-ray has also been announced.

"Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM ZERO" is a prequel to the movie "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM," which was released on January 26, 2024, featuring a scenario written during the development of "SEED FREEDOM" by the series composer Chiaki Morosawa and Shigeru Morita. In the newly released special footage, we get a glimpse of Kira, Lacus, and Yzak, as well as Shin and Lunamaria in swimsuits.

The cast of the "Drama CD" included in the Blu-ray "Mighty Edition" and "Limited Collector's Edition" of "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM," releasing on Wednesday, December 25, 2024, has also been revealed. Leonard Balway, a new character introduced in "Moonlight Valkyrie," will be played by Daisuke Ono.
