Hiroshi Nagano, who played Daigo Madoka in 'Ultraman Tiga,' made a surprise appearance at the "ULTRA LEAGUE Release Event in Tokyo" held today, November 10th, at TOC Ariake Convention Hall in Tokyo.

It has been quite some time since Nagano, who played Daigo Madoka in the beloved series 'Ultraman Tiga' 28 years ago, attended an Ultraman event. He made his appearance on the very first day of the "ULTRA LEAGUE Release Event," the first official event commemorating the release of the "Ultraman Card Game" on October 25th. The participants in the card game tournament, held during the release event, were thrilled by Nagano's surprise appearance.

Nagano appeared amidst loud cheers, smiling as he said, "I'm so happy." He continued, "It is all thanks to you that I get to be the main character for two out of the three products released in the 'Ultraman Card Game' after 28 years," expressing his gratitude to the fans.

Nagano also reflected on what he had learned from Ultraman, noting the importance of showing different sides of oneself in order to continue being loved by the fans, as he touched upon the diverse characters that have appeared in the Ultraman series.

Ultraman Tiga, who is also the main character for the 'Starter Deck 01' and 'Booster Pack 01' of the "Ultraman Card Game," also made an appearance. Amidst a round of applause, Nagano and Tiga reunited, shook hands firmly, and nodded at each other.

In addition to Ultraman Tiga, Ultraman Blazar, Ultraman Decker, Ultraman Trigger, Ultraman Mebius, Ultraman Z, Ultraman Gaia, Ultraman Geed, Ultraman Dyna, and Ultraman Zero were also present.

At the "ULTRA LEAGUE Release Event in Tokyo," Eiji Shishido, the general producer of the Ultraman Card Game, introduced the charm of the card game. It was announced that on January 24, 2025, the "Booster Pack 02: Raging Crimson and Azure" and the "Extra Deck: ULTRAMAN RISING" will be released.

The "ULTRA LEAGUE Release Event" will be held in six regions nationwide starting from November 10th. The event will feature a card tournament using the "Gunslinger Format," where a PR card featuring the "Space Dinosaur Zetton" will be given based on the number of victories. Other activities include merchandise sales, a photo session with Ultraman heroes, a photo spot exhibition, and a card illustration designer autograph session.
