The TV anime "The Brilliant Healer's New Life in the Shadows" (Yami Healer) is set to premiere in April 2025. Alongside the release announcement, a teaser PV, illustrations, and staff and cast information were also revealed.

Introduction

A new dark healer is born! The "dark healer," a spin on the dark doctor, heals injuries, comforts people, and maybe even fixes the world...? "Honestly, you're useless now. We don't need you anymore," said his fellow adventurers as they expelled the young healer Zenos from their party, tossing him a single gold coin as a severance payment.

Born into poverty, Zenos uses his self-taught healing magic without even possessing a healer's license. Wandering through the backstreets with nowhere to go, Zenos encounters an elf girl named Lily, bleeding out from a stab wound.

"Don't worry, this is nothing I can't handle."

"...Huh? It doesn't hurt, and the wound's gone? How did it heal?!"

In a run-down clinic located on the outskirts of the slums, the unlicensed genius healer begins his journey in this unassuming, strongest fantasy tale.
