Singer-songwriter Hikaru Utada is set to embark on her first overseas solo concert as part of the "HIKARU UTADA SCIENCE FICTION TOUR 2024," which marks her first live tour in about six years. The concert will take place on August 10 and 11 at the Taipei Arena in Taiwan.

This marks her first solo performance overseas under her name, Utada, since 2010, making it a highly anticipated event nearly 14 years in the making. Including festivals, this is her first live event since the "Coachella Festival" in 2022, two years ago.

Recently, Utada's songs "First Love" and "Hatsukoi" inspired the Netflix drama "First Love Hatsukoi," which has been a topic of significant interest. As these songs hit the charts in Asia, there is considerable excitement surrounding her upcoming solo performance.
