The manga Endo and Kobayashi Live! The Latest on Tsundere Villainess Lieselotte will officially end its serialization, as announced on the official X (formerly Twitter) account of B's-LOG COMIC. The unexpected termination stems from multiple editorial oversights, leading the editorial team to issue an apology.

In a written statement, the editorial team explained: "After discussions among the parties involved, we have decided to end the manga serialization. The series will conclude with the publication of the 7th volume, and there are no plans for future releases. We sincerely apologize to all readers who were looking forward to the continuation."

They continued, “Existing stock of the printed volumes will remain available until sold out. We cannot provide further details at this time regarding the future of the digital, vertical comic, or overseas translation editions, but we will provide updates when possible.”

The editorial team outlined the series of issues that led to the decision: "The cause of this decision stems from our repeated mistakes, which damaged the trust between us and the original creators. These issues include: an unauthorized release of the vertical comic version, failure to follow proper procedures for content approvals, and delays caused by communication breakdowns during production. In addition, confidential media mix information was leaked prematurely, further eroding trust."

The statement also noted, "We attempted to rectify the situation by implementing new measures, including replacing staff and proposing a timeline for submission of all remaining storyboards. However, due to the health issues of the manga artist, Lumio Sakaki, these conditions could not be met. Moreover, original author Suzu Enoshima also experienced health difficulties, making it impossible to seek further extensions."

The editorial department concluded, "The responsibility for the manga’s termination lies entirely with our team. We deeply apologize to the readers who were eagerly waiting, as well as to the original creator, Suzu Enoshima, the dedicated manga artist Lumio Sakaki, and all other involved parties. We encourage fans to read the original light novel series published by Kadokawa Books to experience the story’s conclusion. We will strive to rebuild trust with our readers and creators moving forward. We are truly sorry."

Endo and Kobayashi Live! The Latest on Tsundere Villainess Lieselotte is based on a light novel by Suzu Enoshima, with manga adaptation by Lumio Sakaki, which began serialization in 2019. The series was also adapted into a popular anime that aired from January to March 2023.
