The latest episode of the series 'Ultraman Arc' (airs every Saturday at 9:00 AM), broadcast on six TV Tokyo-affiliated networks and simultaneously streamed worldwide, aired on the 31st with Episode 8 titled "Internet Kanegon."

The new TV series 'Ultraman Arc' aims to inspire children's "dreaming power" and be a bridge to a bright future full of hope. Through the world of "Ultraman," it depicts a bright, heartwarming, and heroic story. The story follows a being of light who arrives on Earth from a distant galaxy and unites with the protagonist, Yuma Tobase (played by Yuki Totsuka), who possesses a rich "imaginative power." Yuma, a rookie investigator at the newly joined Monster Disaster Prevention Science Research Institute, commonly known as "SKIP," conducts scientific investigations to prevent monster-related disasters. With a kind and straightforward personality, Yuma is a lively young man loved by the townspeople. Inspired by the motto "Run, Yuma!" handed down from his father, Yuma charges ahead as the lead in this series.

The plot for Episode 8, titled "Internet Kanegon," has been revealed: "Now the economic crisis in Hoshimoto City!? It seems that the digital currency 'HoshiPay,' recently popular in Hoshimoto City, is being consumed by a digital monster! SKIP is mobilized! But how can they deal with a digital monster!? With the help of the 'HoshiPay' developer, Yuma and Arc rise to save Hoshimoto City!!"

To make money, Shu and Yuma decide to become video streamers, but they struggle to gain subscribers. Amidst their struggles, Internet Kanegon appears as a top streamer. Shu reaches out for a collaboration, and to the surprise of the SKIP team, Kanegon contacts them directly. When they finally meet, it is revealed that Kanegon is an AI. Kanegon becomes a popular figure by showing people what they want to see and doing what they want to be done, leading to an increase in HoshiPay users.　However, Kanegon enters a state of runaway behavior, causing uncontrollable situations. With 90% of the total HoshiPay now being used as tips for Kanegon, the monster hoards the money without spending it, leading to severe impacts on the local economy.

To resolve this, Yuma and the others take action. After various events, Ultraman Arc and Yupi enter the digital space and confront Kanegon. Somehow, they succeed in teaching Kanegon the importance of spending money, restoring peace to Hoshimoto City.
