Who Will Win in the Final? 'My Hero Academia (MHA)' Global Popularity Poll - Bakugo Takes the Lead at Midterm.

The voting for the Global Popularity Poll of the popular manga My Hero Academia (author: Kohei Horikoshi) concluded on September 30. The final results will be revealed on December 2 at 7 PM (JST) via a special premiere on the YouTube channel "Jump Channel."

Announcement of the 'My Hero Academia Worldwide Character Popularity Poll 'WORLD BEST HERO'' (C) Weekly Shonen Jump 2024 Issues 36-37 Double Edition / Shueisha


Following the final announcement, a special "PLUS ULTRA Stage" competition will begin, where the top three ranked characters from the poll will compete in a 24-hour showdown for the honorary title 'THE MHA' to commemorate the 'WORLD BEST HERO' poll. The character who secures first place in this stage will also be honored with a statue.

The Final Result Release Schedule

■Main Stage
Event: A two-month poll with 278 characters competing for the top spots.

Rewards:
1st Place: Celebratory movie for the WORLD BEST HERO.
1st to 3rd Places: Advance to the PLUS ULTRA Stage.
1st to 10th Places: Receive a new illustration by Kohei Horikoshi-sensei.

Announcements:
Midterm: September 1 & September 5, 2024 (7:00 PM JST)
Final: December 2, 2024 (7:00 PM JST) on the Jump Channel (Shonen Jump’s official YouTube)

■Plus Ultra Stage
Event: A 24-hour championship between the top 3 characters from the Main Stage to determine the ultimate winner.
Voting Period:
December 2, 2024, 8:00 PM JST – December 3, 2024, 7:59 PM JST
Results: Announced on December 3, 2024, 9:30 PM JST on the Jump Channel.
Voting: Vote once per hour, with a maximum of 12 votes in 24 hours.

A program premiering on Shonen Jump's official YouTube channel, Jump Channel.


Midterm Result TOP10

In the midterm results of My Hero Academia WORLD BEST HERO announced on September 5th (JST), Katsuki Bakugo, who had missed the top spot in the third week, has reclaimed the number one position. He ranked first in all regions, including Asia and North America, showing his global popularity.

In second place is the protagonist, Izuku Midoriya. Although he took the top spot for the first time in the third week, he dropped in rank this time. However, this is only the midterm result. There is still a chance for a comeback.

Shoto Todoroki takes third place. His fifth-place ranking in Oceania may have affected his overall standing.
