"Oshi no Ko" began serialization in "Weekly Young Jump" (Shueisha) in April 2020. The story revolves around the protagonist Goro, an obstetrician who meets his favorite idol, Ai Hoshino. After dying in an incident, Goro is reincarnated as Ai's child. This event leads him to pursue a career in the entertainment industry, just like her. The first season of the TV anime aired from April to June 2023. The second season focuses on the "Tokyo Blade" arc, depicting Aqua, Kana Arima, and Akane Kurokawa as they prepare for their roles in the 2.5D stage play "Tokyo Blade."
