Mei Nagano stars as the red blood cell, responsible for transporting oxygen throughout the body, while Takeru Satoh takes on the role of the white blood cell (neutrophil) that fights bacteria and viruses. Additionally, Mana Ashida plays Niko Urushizaki, a healthy high school girl, and Sadao Abe portrays her father, Shigeru Urushizaki, who leads an unhealthy lifestyle.

The poster visual vividly captures the unique world within the human body, featuring the smallest protagonists, the red blood cell and white blood cell (neutrophil), as well as the Urushizaki family, who serve as the stage for the cells' activities. The film also boasts 13 undisclosed cast members, with colorful cells scattered across the poster providing hints. New characters will be added to the poster as the cast is revealed.

The original manga by Akane Shimizu, published in Kodansha's "Monthly Shōnen Sirius," gained international attention, including being recommended by the French newspaper Le Monde in 2017. The anime adaptation in 2018 further fueled its popularity, leading to numerous spin-offs.

The movie, set within the human body, depicts the smallest of stories on the grandest scale in Japanese cinema. It draws from both Shimizu's "Cells at Work!" and the spin-off "Cells at Work! BLACK" by Shigemitsu Harada and Issei Hatsuyoshiya, showcasing the activities of cells within the bodies of both the father and daughter, intertwined with their human drama. The film is directed by Hideki Takeuchi, known for "Fly Me to the Saitama" and "Thermae Romae," with action choreography by Takahito Ouchi of "Rurouni Kenshin" and "Yu Yu Hakusho."

Starting on the 12th of this week, the first batch of MoviTicket cards will go on sale in theaters nationwide (excluding some theaters). The purchase bonus is a specially designed business card-sized poster card featuring the "world's smallest micro-poster" measuring just 1 millimeter in height, which is set to be submitted for Guinness World Records (limited quantity).

Also beginning on the 12th, the world's smallest posters will be displayed in select theaters. Due to their minuscule size, viewers will need to use magnifying glasses to see them. Be sure to check out these exclusive theater displays for a closer look at the movie's world.
