The Apothecary Diaries Episode 53 Story & Preview Stills Released: The White Snake Fairy

The story and preview stills for Episode 53 of The Apothecary Diaries Season 3 have been released. The episode will air on Friday, October 30 at 11:40 p.m. (JST), followed by streaming on various platforms. A November broadcast calendar covering Episodes 54–57 and podcast release dates has also been unveiled.

Episode 53 Story

Rumors are spreading about a mysterious fairy with white hair resembling a white snake and red eyes, who is said to possess mystical powers. Maomao is invited by Lahan and Rikuson, a subordinate of Lakan, to see a performance featuring the rumored fairy. Though skeptical, she decides to go along. In an eerie setting filled with guests wearing unusual masks or veils, the fairy Bai Niangniang appears on stage to the sound of a gong. She invites Maomao onto the stage, where Maomao witnesses her mystical arts firsthand.

Introduction

Set in the inner palace of a fictional empire, The Apothecary Diaries follows Maomao, an apothecary raised in the pleasure district, who uses her extensive knowledge of medicine and keen observational skills to unravel mysteries and conspiracies within the imperial court.
