Oregairu Yui Vol. 3 Leads Japan's Light Novel Top 10

My Youth Romantic Comedy Is Wrong, As I Expected: Yui Vol. 3 leads this week's Oricon light novel ranking with an estimated 7,517 physical copies sold in Japan. A Tale of the Secret Saint Vol. 13 follows just 383 copies behind at No. 2. Meanwhile, The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten Vol. 13 climbs from fifth to third as its weekly sales increase by 26.7%.

A 383-copy margin at the top

Oregairu's Yui Vol. 3 and A Tale of the Secret Saint Vol. 13 take the top two positions with 7,517 and 7,134 copies, respectively. Neither volume was in the previous week's Top 10. Their cumulative totals equal their weekly sales in this chart. The narrow gap puts the spotlight on a closely contested lead, with the two books together accounting for 14,651 copies. Last week's leader, Magian Company Vol. 12, moves to No. 4 with 5,355 copies.

A Tale of the Secret Saint Vol. 13

The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten Vol. 13 rises from No. 5 to No. 3 as weekly sales grow from 5,044 to 6,393 copies. That is an increase of 1,349 copies, or 26.7%, taking the volume's cumulative estimate to 11,437. It is the only one of the four volumes appearing in both weeks' Top 10 lists to post a sales increase. Its progress stands out against the 13.9% decline in the combined Top 10 total, although that total compares a different mix of books each week.

KADOKAWA occupies half of the Top 10

KADOKAWA places five volumes in the ranking, totaling 16,520 copies, or 37.0% of Top 10 sales. These include Private Tutor to the Duke's Daughter Vol. 23 at No. 8 and its 0 II volume at No. 9, which together sell 5,478 copies. They remain separate entries. Among continuing volumes, Magian Company Vol. 12 falls 67.4% in weekly sales, while A Certain Magical Index: Genesis Testament Vol. 16 drops from No. 2 to No. 10 with 2,274 copies, down 66.5%.
