A new legend begins with a dream-fueled Rider who merges nostalgia with innovation.

The highlight of the series is the Zeztz Driver, the first-ever chest-worn transformation belt in Kamen Rider history, which had already drawn attention worldwide before the broadcast. The story introduces an unprecedented setting: protagonist Baku Yorozu (played by Ryutaro Imai) transforms into Kamen Rider Zeztz, an invincible agent of the secret defense organization CODE, who dives into human dreams to complete missions.

Thrilling action draws viewers into a dreamlike world.

Episode 1 begins with Baku engaging in a spy-action style gunfight to rescue the kidnapped national idol Nemu (Maho Horiguchi). However, it turns out to be a lucid dream, revealing Baku as an unlucky man who suffers misfortune whenever he tries to help others. Fate changes when he saves a child from being kidnapped, only to be hospitalized after an accident. There, a monster called Gun Nightmare attacks, and Baku stumbles upon a mysterious door where CODE’s commander Zero grants him the Zeztz Driver. Transforming into Zeztz, he defeats the monster and rescues Nemu, but later awakens in his hospital room, raising the mystery of whether it was really just a dream.

Transformation scene and visuals ignite fan excitement.

Fans especially praised Zeztz’s first transformation scene—snapping fingers across the lips, sliding them over the belt, and activating the capsule-like Capsume. Legendary voice actor Koichi Yamadera voices the Zeztz Driver, receiving acclaim for his powerful system lines. The Rider’s black-and-green body with glowing red eyes earned praise for blending the franchise’s origins with a sleek, modern edge.

The gap between Baku’s clumsy real self and his sharp dream persona captivates audiences.

Ryutaro Imai’s portrayal of the contrasting sides of Baku gained wide attention, while fans speculated about future dream battles. With simultaneous international release across Asia and the U.S., global reactions are highly anticipated. Episode 1 is now streaming on multiple platforms.

Next episode preview teases new nightmare battles.

Episode 2 (airing September 14) assigns Baku/Zetsu the mission of stopping a bomber, facing off against the nightmare monster Bomb Nightmare. However, in the dream world, Baku is branded a wanted criminal and hunted by police. Meanwhile, in reality, detectives Tetsuya Fujimi (Kenta Mishima) and Nasukа Nagumo (Rina Onuki) investigate him as a key suspect. The blurred line between dream and reality hints at an impending crisis.
