Studio Ghibli’s anime film Princess Mononoke will be broadcast on Nippon TV’s Friday Road Show on August 29. In the lead-up to the airing, the program’s official X account has begun sharing a selection of iconic scenes from the movie.

The official X account for Friday Road Show has been actively posting still cuts of memorable moments from the movie. Accompanying the posts is a message that reads:

Among the featured scenes are the tense confrontation between San and Eboshi, as well as key emotional moments between the characters.

The Story of Ashitaka and San

Princess Mononoke tells the story of Ashitaka, a young man who is cursed while saving his village and subsequently exiled. As he seeks to understand his fate, he encounters San, a girl raised by wolves who is known as “Princess Mononoke.” Together, they confront the conflict between humans and the forest, each searching for a path toward coexistence.
