Demon Slayer announces new gift—Vol. 3 Visual Board on Aug 2

 It has been announced that a new bonus gift for the movie Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Arc – Part 1: Akaza Returns will be distributed starting August 2. As a token of appreciation for moviegoers, the “Vol. 3 Key Visual Illustration Board” will be given to 3 million people nationwide.

As a token of gratitude to the many fans who came to theaters, it has been decided that a new thank-you bonus gift will follow the previously distributed “Special Art Stand featuring original artwork by Koyoharu Gotouge.” The first installment will be an A5-size illustration board featuring the newly revealed Vol. 3 key visual.

Demon Slayer is based on the hugely popular manga that ran in Weekly Shonen Jump from February 2016 to May 2020. Set in the Taisho era, the story follows Tanjiro Kamado, a boy whose family was slaughtered by demons. To turn his demon-transformed sister Nezuko back into a human and avenge his family, he joins the Demon Slayer Corps. The manga has surpassed 220 million copies in circulation worldwide.

The TV anime ”Tanjiro Kamado, Unwavering Resolve Arc” aired from April to September 2019, becoming a major hit. In October 2020, the film ”Demon Slayer: Mugen Train” premiered and became a social phenomenon, earning approximately 51.7 billion yen in worldwide box office revenue.

The series has since expanded into games and stage productions. The TV anime continued with the "Entertainment District Arc" in December 2021, followed by the "Swordsmith Village Arc" in April 2023, and the "Hashira Training Arc" from May to June 2024. The Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Arc is being produced as a trilogy of theatrical films. In Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Arc – Part 1: Akaza Returns, Tanjiro and the ’Demon Slayer Corps’ engage in a final battle within the demon stronghold, the (Infinity Castle), against their arch-nemesis Muzan Kibutsuji and the Upper Rank demons. The film is currently showing in 452 theaters across Japan (393 standard and 59 IMAX screens).
