Popular Voice Actress Kanon Takao Graduates from Aoyama Gakuin University — Surprised to Receive Award for Outstanding Thesis

Kanon Takao (22), a rising voice actress known for her role as Sakiko Togawa in the BanG Dream! anime series, updated her X account on the 25th to announce that she has graduated from the Faculty of Literature, Department of Comparative Arts at Aoyama Gakuin University.

Takao wrote on X, “I have graduated from the Faculty of Literature, Department of Comparative Arts at Aoyama Gakuin University,” and expressed her surprise, saying, “And to my astonishment... I even received the Award for Outstanding Thesis!”

She added, “These four years were so fulfilling, it feels like I just took the university entrance exam yesterday. I’m filled with gratitude for all the fans who supported me, the staff who helped me, my professors, and my family.”

Takao is also active as a member of the band Ave Mujica, which originated from the BanG Dream! series. She is known for roles such as Hina Tsurugi in Diary of Our Days at the Breakwater, Chisa Shiraishi in IDOLY PRIDE, Ayu Arata in Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinkalion Z, and Yui Saikawa in The Detective Is Already Dead.
