On May 22, the official website of the TV anime The Apothecary Diaries released a new seasonal visual as part of the ongoing project titled “The Four Seasons with Maomao and Jinshi.” This marks the 11th installment in the series, unveiled on the 22nd of each month—nicknamed "Maomao Day"—and features characters Maomao, Xiaolan, and Shisui enjoying a vibrant spring day beneath blooming wisteria.

The illustration captures the essence of late spring, with wisteria flowers gently swaying in the breeze. In the scene, Xiaolan listens with delight while munching on dango, captivated by Shisui’s animated conversation. Shisui herself is fully engrossed in chatting, ignoring the sweets entirely, while Maomao smiles softly, listening intently. It’s a tranquil and heartwarming depiction of friendship and seasonal beauty.

To celebrate the release, the official website is offering free wallpapers for both PC and smartphone featuring this month’s visual. In addition, a follow & repost campaign is now live on X (formerly Twitter). Fans who follow the official The Apothecary Diaries X account and repost the campaign post will be entered into a lottery, with five winners receiving a special visual card featuring the new illustration.
