The beloved character Chiikawa will get its very first large-scale interactive facility, CHIIKAWA PARK, opening in Tokyo in 2025. On May 9, the official X (formerly Twitter) account was updated to reveal the construction site: Toshima Ward.

Created by illustrator Nagano, Chiikawa—short for “Nanka Chiisakute Kawaii Yatsu” (Something Small and Cute)—has captured hearts with its endearing characters and heartfelt stories about small joys and challenges in daily life. Its unique worldview and charming designs have become a cultural phenomenon across Japan.
The May 9 post invited fans to apply as opening staff members, stating:
“In 2025, CHIIKAWA PARK will open in Tokyo! Would you like to be part of the launch team?”
For the first time, the official site disclosed the location as Toshima Ward, Tokyo.
