The story and scene previews for Episode 22 of the anime Orb: On the Movements of the Earth (EP22 title: "You Are Not Figures of History") have been released. Episode 22 is scheduled to broadcast on NHK General TV on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at 11:45 PM. Following each broadcast, the episode will be available for worldwide streaming on Netflix and for free on ABEMA.

A fierce battle erupts between the Heretical Liberation Front and the knight order led by Nowak. Seizing the opportunity, Draka and Schmidt make their escape—the diversion was Draka’s plan all along.

With Nowak in relentless pursuit, Schmidt pushes himself to his limits to ensure their survival. Barely managing to flee to the city, Draka seeks out Bishop Antoni.

Recognizing Antoni’s keen sense for profit, Draka proposes a deal. Just as Antoni begins to waver, Nowak bursts in, bringing the tense negotiations to a sudden halt.

Orb: On the Movements of the Earth is based on the manga of the same name by Uoto, serialized in Big Spirits Comics (published by Shogakukan). It is a highly acclaimed work, having won the Grand Prize at the 26th Tezuka Osamu Cultural Awards.

Set in 15th-century Europe, during a time when heretical ideas were punished by burning at the stake, the story follows those who risk their beliefs and lives to prove the heliocentric theory, which challenged the dominant geocentric worldview.

The prodigy Rafał is expected to major in theology, but one day, a mysterious man researching a "heretical truth" appears before him.
