💖 Sae Iwata, a physically strong but ordinary girl
💖 Kouki Kamishiro, a delicate boy whom Sae once helped and secretly admired

Along with the announcement, Kazune Kawahara expressed her gratitude and excitement for the anime adaptation:
💬 “Everyone involved in the anime is treating the original work with love and dedication. Once it airs, I’d love for you all to watch it! Even from what I’ve seen so far, there are extra lines and expressions added to the story that make it even better. I’m really looking forward to it! This is the first time my art is being animated, and honestly, I’ve always drawn while covering up my own uncertainties. I imagined it must have been difficult to adapt, but the characters turned out so cute!”
