The Legacy Continues
Since its debut in 1993 under the direction of Steven Spielberg, Jurassic Park captivated audiences worldwide with groundbreaking visual effects and thrilling storytelling. The saga expanded further in 2015 with Jurassic World, reigniting global enthusiasm for dinosaurs and bringing the franchise’s total worldwide box office earnings to a staggering $6.2 billion.
Now, the seventh installment marks a fresh beginning with Spielberg himself returning as an executive producer. Directing the film is Gareth Edwards, renowned for his work on Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016) and The Creator (2023).
The screenplay is penned by David Koepp, who wrote Jurassic Park (1993) and The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997), making a triumphant return after 28 years. Longtime franchise producers Frank Marshall and Patrick Crowley are also onboard, promising a film that stays true to the spirit of the series.
