The world’s largest anime event, AnimeJapan 2025, will take place at Tokyo Big Sight on March 22 and 23, 2025. Marking its 12th edition since its launch in 2014, this year’s event will host a record-breaking 117 exhibitors, including major anime-related companies such as Aniplex, KADOKAWA, and TOHO animation.

Sakurazaka46 has been named the official ambassadors for AnimeJapan 2025. Members Rina Matsuda, Hikaru Morita, Airi Taniguchi, Yuzuki Nakashima, and Mio Matono shared their thoughts on taking on this role, expressing excitement for the event.

Key Visual and Anime Character Lineup Unveiled

A vibrant key visual featuring 22 anime characters has also been revealed. Characters include Haruka Sakura from WIND BREAKER, Hikaru from The Summer Hikaru Died, and Mao Mao from The Apothecary Diaries, bursting with energy in this dynamic illustration.

Premiere Kickoff Event on YouTube

On January 17 at 8:00 PM, the official AnimeJapan YouTube channel will host the premiere of AnimeJapan KICKOFF 2025. The video, narrated by Sakurazaka46 members, will unveil the AJ Stage lineup and the latest updates about the event.
