Story Recap
Serialized from 2001 to 2016 in Weekly Shonen Jump, BLEACH follows the story of Ichigo Kurosaki, who becomes a Soul Reaper after meeting Rukia Kuchiki. With over 130 million copies of the manga sold, the franchise has spawned games, a live-action movie, and an anime series that originally aired from 2004 to 2012.
Returning after a decade, the Thousand-Year Blood War Arc began in October 2022, covering the manga’s final storyline. The first cour aired in Fall 2022, the second cour in Summer 2023, and the upcoming finale promises to deliver an epic showdown.
1-Hour Finale Synopsis
Soul Reapers vs. Quincies, Ichigo vs. Uryu—pride and determination drive the story toward its conclusion.
Uryu, after striking Renji, retreats to the Wahrwelt. Awaiting him is Haschwalth, who appears markedly different. Meanwhile, the Soul Reapers, led by Kyoraku’s decisive actions, rush toward the Wahrwelt’s throne room.
Standing in their way is Gerard Valkyrie. Despite being pushed back by relentless attacks from the Gotei 13 captains, Gerard remains eerily confident, declaring that his power manifests miracles when faced with crisis.
