Haikyu!! Remains Popular Years After Completion

The beloved manga Haikyu!! has achieved a remarkable milestone, surpassing 70 million copies in circulation as of December 22, according to Shueisha. Despite concluding in July 2020, the series continues to sell strongly, with Shueisha stating, "Its popularity shows no signs of waning even after completion."

Haikyu!! FAN PARK Scheduled for June 2025

To celebrate its ongoing legacy, the fan event Haikyu!! FAN PARK will take place on June 7–8, 2025, at Makuhari Messe in Chiba. This special gathering will bring together fans and showcase all things Haikyu!!, from manga to spin-offs. Admission will be free, but entry will be limited to invitees through prior registration. Details will be announced at a later date.

Serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from February 2012 to July 2020, Haikyu!! follows the journey of Shoyo Hinata, a passionate high school volleyball player aiming to emulate his idol, the “Small Giant.” Alongside his teammates, including the prodigious setter Tobio Kageyama, Hinata navigates the challenges of competition, camaraderie, and self-discovery in the sport of volleyball.

The series has spawned an anime adaptation, stage plays, and even a globally successful film, Haikyu!! The Dumpster Battle, released in February 2024. The movie grossed 20 billion yen worldwide as of December 22, 2024.
