Epic Showdown Between Light and Darkness

Tsuburaya Productions has unveiled the storyline, characters, cast, poster, and trailer for Ultraman Arc The Movie: Superdimensional Showdown! Arc of Light and Darkness, set to hit theaters on February 21, 2025.

The movie, based on the latest Ultraman Arc series (airing every Saturday at 9:00 AM), follows Ultraman Arc as he faces a mysterious giant named Gilarc, resembling a dark Ultraman Arc, in a superdimensional battle. The film introduces a pivotal character, the enigmatic Sage of Space, Sascal of the Digl Planet, played by veteran actor Naoto Takenaka, who subjects protagonist Yuma Hize to the ultimate test of courage and imagination.

Limited Edition Merchandise and Special Promotions

Fans can purchase movie tickets featuring a tense standoff between Ultraman Arc and Gilarc starting December 27. Additionally, attendees during the movie's first week will receive a limited-edition promotional card of Gilarc from the Ultraman Card Game.

Synopsis

"Do you have what it takes to be a true hero?"
This haunting question, posed by the enigmatic Sascal, marks the beginning of Yuma Hize’s most challenging trial. The young protagonist, who transforms into Ultraman Arc powered by his boundless imagination, faces the threat of losing his abilities if he fails.

As a member of SKIP (Scientific Kaiju Investigation and Protection), Yuma has fought tirelessly to protect Hoshimoto City alongside his trusted teammates. However, his peacekeeping efforts, inner conflicts about his mission, and trust built with his allies are all tested by Sascal’s manipulations.

Among chaotic battles with rampaging kaiju, sinister aliens, and the warped dimensions of the superdimensional realm, Gilarc—a dark mirror image of Ultraman Arc—emerges as the ultimate adversary. Can Yuma overcome this trial, protect the future, and harness the full potential of his imagination?
